Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do was developed by General Choi Hong Hi, who passed away in 2002. This form of martial arts combines movements from several different forms of fighting arts from Japan and Korea. The forms of martial arts that influenced Tae Kwon Do are Japanese Karate and the Korean martial arts of Tae Kyon and Soo bak Gi. Today, Tae Kwon Do has become one of the most popular forms of martial arts, due largely to the many health benefits that come along with practicing this art form.
